STUDIO POLICIES
Arriving at the Studio…When you arrive, please remove your shoes upon entering the studio. Since Pilates work is done barefoot, we ask that in classes that do require shoes, everyone would wear shoes that are limited to indoor use. Please place your personal belongings in cubbies, and wait for your trainer. If you are going to be late, please call and let the trainer know.
Cell Phone Use …Please turn your cell phone off or set to vibrate as soon as you enter the studio to respect
other clients. If you are expecting an emergency call, let your instructor know and keep your phone
close by. ________
Children in the Studio …We love kids, but please try to avoid bringing children in during your class time.______
While in the Studio … Since this form of exercise is a mind/body exercise, please be aware of other clients in the studio at all times. Your trainers are always happy to talk to you, and we often find ourselves having quite a good time engaged in conversation. We don’t ever want to discourage that, but please be aware of the volume of your conversation, and keep the studio as quiet as possible, so that those who are training can really connect internally. You are welcome to bring water, or we have bottled water available for $1. Chewing gum is discouraged during Pilates due to the breathing requirements.______
Purchasing Packages…You have the option to purchase 10 or 20 session packages. At least 10 private sessions are required before joining a semi-private. Our goal is to give you the best training possible based on your body awareness, past injuries, etc, so it may be necessary to have additional private sessions before moving to semi-privates. Your readiness to move on to semi-privates will be at your trainer’s discretion.______
Purchasing Individual Sessions…If you choose to buy each session individually, you must pay for the session before you actually schedule that session. ______
Cancellation Policy …We require a 24 HOUR NOTICE OF CANCELLATION PRIOR TO YOUR CLASS. We will attempt to fill your spot, but if you contact us less than 24 hours in advance, please realize that many times other clients have been turned away, even in semi-private sessions. We will deduct the class from your card or a session from your package if you have not given us the required notice.
Class Reservations …Please sign-up for your classes in advance – we require a minimum of 3 students to hold a class. If a class does not have enough people in it, you will be notified that your class has been cancelled. You always have the option to drop in on a class, just be aware that the class may have been cancelled due to lack of students.______
What to Wear …We recommend comfortable tops and bottoms, socks or barefoot. Large loose clothing or short shorts may be uncomfortable while performing certain Pilates exercises.______
Guests of our Clients …Each guest must fill out a health history form and consent before taking class. Out-of-town guests or family members may use your card, if they are just dropping in once or twice a year. If another family member or guests wishes to come more often, they will need to purchase their own package.______
Perfume & Scented Lotions … Please be aware that other clients might have allergies or be sensitive to heavy perfumes and lotions.______
Update your Information …Please keep us up-to-date concerning the information given on your Health History form as well as any new phone numbers or email. Always make sure your trainer is aware of any new physical pain or injury that you may have before beginning your session.______
